We all know it's Rooster, but what does everyone else think?
"No Excuses" never seems to get old, for some reason. 👍
Don’t Follow is freakin awesome, I used to listen to that all the timeI am a HUGE AIC fan. I never got to see them when Layne was still around, but have seen the current version of them a couple times and they are awesome live. My favorites include Bleed The Freak, We Die Young, and Would. My favorite is a departure from their hard stuff though. Don't Follow features Jerry Cantrell on lead with Layne joining in. The harmonica joining in makes it perfect. The Jar Of Flies and Sap albums are REALLY good.
As an aside even though it is a cover, them joining Nancy Wilson to do Barracuda is peak live cover. Ann Wilson must have been sick or something because country singer Gretchen Wilson (no relation I think) took lead and she was amazing. I had no idea she was this good.
Looking back on it, that early 90's music scene was pretty cool.Don’t Follow is freakin awesome, I used to listen to that all the time
Of course, I also love Rooster, No Excuses, Would, Man in the Box, etc
I was in college in the early 90s when AiC was huge
I was stationed just across the sound from Seattle at Bangor sub-base while in the Marines when this music was huge. I never could get away to see the big acts. A bunch of guys went to Lollapalooza about five miles from the base when I was on duty. It was a who's who of early 90's rock bands playing. One of our guys came back with a busted nose from the pit. One night a bunch of us were bouncing around Pioneer Square going from rock club to rock club. They had a "one cover" pass you could use which was awesome. We saw Candlebox in the basement of the Phoenix Underground with about fifty other people. Not quite AIC, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam or Nirvana but still pretty cool.Don’t Follow is freakin awesome, I used to listen to that all the time

The early 90s were amazing in terms of those bands you mentioned, and also big were Janes Addiction, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, the Use your Illusion albums from GnR, etc. Great times for a 18-25 year old for sure.I was stationed just across the sound from Seattle at Bangor sub-base while in the Marines when this music was huge. Shake Your Moneymaker was one hell of a good album. Counting Crows- August and Everything After was pretty damn good (outside of that genre), too.I might add The Black Crowes as well. In a time when Grunge was trending, the Black Crowes were a southern rock throwback.

Now, ti was not great party music because girls hate those bands, but, for chilling, grilling out, shooting the shit with the guys, it was great.
I want to see Def Leppard, Crue and Cooper this summer...I still see those band every chance it I get (especially Pearl Jam). I saw AIC in KC a coupes weeks ago (sad I never got to see them with Layne Staley). I have Pearl Jam tickets for St. Paul the Saturday after Nebraska plays Minnesota and Ohana tickets in early October to see Eddie and the Foo Fighters in Dana Point, California.
