Had dinner last week with a former business partner in New Orleans and his wife Eleonore, who was born and raised in Ireland.
They have a son who is in grad school at Tulane.
Geoff looks like a haggard former self of the guy that I used to go drinking with in New Orleans 20 years ago.
But Eleonore (his wife, who was born in Ireland) could easily pass for 30 - 35.
Remember the Corrs? They were an Irish pop band made up of three sisters from the 1990s. This is those same three sisters today:
None of the three sisters appears to have hit the wall.
I had lunch with Caroline Corr (the drummer chick - long story) in Dublin in 2001 - I kid you not, she looks better today than she did in 2001.
Irish genetics, or is there something else in play here?
