I got home yesterday and tossed some of my booze out back on my snow covered deck.
Went out and shoveled a shit ton of snow in sub freezing temps. Still had to go out and get shit done regardless. BITD walked to and from school in sub freezing temps. Didn't get out my pocket super computer and cry to mommy and daddy to pweeeese come get me. Yeah, its US who are the pussies amirite?
been on worse. I did get stuck once turning on an incline. stupid intersection i knew i should have avoided. i forget if it was monday or Tuesday morning roads were a sheet of ice.

barely made it to and from my farm to feed critters in my 2500HD 4x4 with a locking diff. We’ve had roughly 2 feet of powder over the last week or two. It’s a mess. I’ll have to drive a FWA tractor with a blower on it to get there tomorrow I’m sure.
I’ll try to safe outside.. I’ll make sure to wear sunscreen while out golfing tomorrow 🤣

For weeks all I’ve heard on the news was stories about how December was a couple of degrees above normal on average. Were going to be 25-40 degrees below the normal average high for over a week and we won’t hear a word about global cooling. 😡
I was paired up with a coupe of dumbasses from Indiana (Purdue grads) and there was a decent sized gator (around 8 ft) soaking up sun a few feet from a lake/pond not far from the fairway. A golf ball was laying about a ft from said gator and these dumbasses wanted to TikTok themselves grabbing the golf ball.
I talked them out of it telling them that gators are insanely fast and he’ll take your hand off .. part of me wished I would of shut my mouth haha
Just got done blowing off the driveway. Took two hours. Scared about how much snow is on my roof. Six foot drifts up there.
Sun finally came out about an hour ago. Got calves in the feedlot fed, found 1 dead this afternoon. Haven't been able to get to the cows yet in different groups. I can see my replacement heifers on stalks. They're out grazing some drought unharvested dryland corn. Road crews aren't out on county roads until wind goes down. Drifting shut as fast as they're getting it opened. Losing cause.
Hopefully can get some water hauled tomorrow

What brand of tractor? You might have to put on chains if it keep snowing. Here in. Southern Nebraska we’ve had a foot of heavy wet snow now about 4”-5” of fluffy snow
