I have a water mystery that I have been unable to solve. Our house is a walkout ranch, and in January we noticed we had water under the carpet in one of our downstairs bedrooms. I pulled up the carpet and cleaned and dried everything. The water has yet to return. We have run all the same water sources, have had snow melt, and heavy rain. Nothing. Someone mentioned it possibly coming up from the main drain. Don't think that would be possible because of the location. Anyone else had any weird water problems or experiences that might help me out? Appreciate any insight as I am not going to fix the room till I find the cause.
