For you guys who don't have expert Thanksgiving pie bakers in your house, Village Piemaker pies made in Omaha and in the freezer case are OUTSTANDING. My experience is that the strawberry rhubarb and peach pies are great but I'm allergic to apples but I think they're good too. My MIL and wife are great pie makers but these frozen pies are as good or better. IME the peach pie takes 10 minutes or so longer than the directions suggest. Put some foil or something on the rack below them because they can run over they're so chock full of yummy fruit. And NO I don't work for Village Piemaker. Just a tip to make your Thanksgiving a little better!

I second this. Their pies are just phenomenal.

Costco has good pies too. Huge and low cost but limited choice.

My wife bought one of their pumpkin cheesecakes. We'll see how that tastes. I used to love pumpkin pie but there's contest between pumpkin and strawberry rhubarb or peach.

I feel like they have gone down hill a bit after the Ricketts bought it and moved it from Eustis to Omaha. Still good. Just not the same.

They were better tasting when made as a small business in Eustis NE.

Yeah seen pumpkin pie in Costco in Colorado the other day, $5.99 jumbo size. Can’t speak for the taste and quality of them but it’s a heck of a deal.

I’ve only had them since they’ve been in Omaha so I can’t judge. The strawberry rhubarb is I think the best I’ve ever eaten.

Many of the frozen pies are outstanding these days. Haven't tried the Village Piemaker, but I'm sure they're great.

It's been a while since I've had a frozen pie that wasn't damn good.
