Where ever my wife tells me to be.
Now that signing day has come and gone, and things have slowed down around here, I'm going to take the opportunity to brag on my beautiful wife a bit.

Have been down with a broken ankle (surgery & 4 titanium screws). Have chosen to work out of my home office rather than hobble into work.

I had been commiserating (to the wife) for a couple years now that I really wanted a proper Bar in my office, as well as a shower in my office bathroom.
Currently have a corner bookshelf housing an old school law library (leather bound law reference material). Completely obsolete due to digital law library.
Also, had a half bath in the office, and wanted a shower for after lunchtime workouts.

Anyway...after two weeks of working from the home office, I returned to work to find it completely remodeled. New hardwood floors (African acacia), the old corner bookshelves removed and replaced with an amazing bar. Also, the bathroom was completely remodeled, and expanded to include a large shower (pics below).

I was completely blown away. On top of all this, the partners showed up for a welcome back party. The presented me with a bottle of 59 year-old Jim Beam in commemorative Nebraska Centennial decanter. We polished it off over the next hour.

Needless to say...I'm a lucky man!

Glass doors with purple light is a dual temperature wine cooler. Stainless steel door is a commercial quality icemaker, which keeps ice just below freezing temperature, so it continually melts and drains so you have continually fresh ice. Double cabinet doors to the right on the angle are a refrigerator.

Obviously haven't quite finished the bathroom. Took over a utility closet to add the shower, so will need to find a different place (other than my new shower) to store paint and other maintenance supplies.

Jim Beam… 9 years old at date of bottling & uncorked 50 years later. So smooth.
Business partner won't tell me where he got it or how much you paid. I'll eventually get it out of him.

Thanks for indulging me in this braggadocio's moment… Just a fun experience I wanted to share.
