A New York high school teacher accused of performing oral sex on a 14-year-old boy was back in court on Thursday.
Dori Myers, 29, was spotted wearing a plain black dress and carrying a bright pink Kate Spade bag as she walked into the courtroom.
Myers, who is married to Rockland County Sheriff's Deputy Matt Myers, was pictured wearing her wedding band on her left hand.
The former social studies teacher was also clutching the book, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis: The Untold Story.
The Jackie O biography is described as 'the untold story of how one woman's life was changed forever in a matter of seconds by a horrific trauma.'
Myers, who taught at the New School for Leadership and the Arts in the Bronx, was charged in January with criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child.
She broke down sobbing in court last month as her attorney, Andrew Stoll, argued that there was inconsistencies in court documents pertaining to the location of her alleged encounter with the victim, according to the New York Post.
Myers was freed on her own recognizance after her arrest in January.
Police were notified of the alleged sexual encounter after the victim, who is thought to be one of Myers' students, told one of his classmates.
That classmate told a school administrator, who then notified police, according to the Post.
A co-worker also claimed to have seen her massaging the alleged victim.
The criminal complaint claims the assault took place somewhere in Upper Manhattan on November 1, 2017. Myers has denied the allegations.
Stoll previously told the Post that Myers started a track team at the Bronx high school - where she has worked since 2014.
The teacher's Facebook page showed a series of smiling photos in which she laughed with friends and drank straight out of champagne bottles before it was deleted.
In several now-deleted photos she wore shirts with slogans referencing alcohol - such as 'Whisky makes me frisky' and 'Champagne all day.'
Myers also wrote about her students and partying in a number of different posts.
The Department of Education called the allegations 'deeply troubling,' but said Myers has no prior disciplinary history.
She had not been fired as of May and was reassigned 'away from students.'
