Second warning for those who haven't seen the movie, don't click the spoilers button. I'd suggest you probably not even look at this thread just in case.

Does anyone else feel like they didn't get as much info as they wanted? I felt almost empty handed after walking away from the movie last night.

It was an excellent movie, don't get me wrong, but I think they left out too much info that we probably needed.

First off, who the hell is Snoke!? We didn't find out where he came from, why he rose to power, and how he rose from power. That was frustrating.

Second, how did Leia not die..... I understand she was an important role, but I wanted Kylo to finally take that deep plunge into the dark side. Kylo's character development was still pretty good, and I feel like he has finally shut off any light side return. Which is what the series needed, they need a new "Vader", without repeating Vader again. Which is the reason why I think they crushed his Kylo's mask.

Lastly, Rae is obviously the second coming of the Jedi. But WHO IS SHE GOING TO LEARN FROM. She's still so new and has this raw power that wasn't trained. I am not sure if anyone else noticed, but on the Falcon, the Jedi books were in one of the cabinets that Chewy was looking through. She is probably going to find them, and then start learning that way and train herself. She will also have to train a army of Jedi, and she will be taking kids like the one at the end of the movie. (If you guys didn't notice the little hint at the end with the kids, I'd suggest you take a second look if you can!)

Anyways, overall, pretty great movie. Would I say it was the best? Probably not, but it was still fun to see some character progression, and I can't wait for the next one to come out!
