I know one of the head track coaches personally. His salary is shit, but I think he loves it and it would be a nice perk to basically have as much Husker gear as your could possibly want. I think a lot of coaches are doing what they love and good for them. Not a lot of us can say that.

Not sure what Balak made as assistant HC the past 2 years, but the former assistant HC made about $55,000. Give or take a few thousand. I assume full benefits. The assistant does most of the off campus recruiting, so a fair amount of travel, although they changed some of the recruiting rules a few years back so maybe a little less travel.

Sorry, Paige was not selected as assistant golf coach. Rumor is the selection has been made but has not been formally announced. Would expect that to be soon.

As expected, Travis Minzel has just been announced as the new Assistant HC.
