Nightmare on Elm Street scared me good, as a middle schooler, watching in the dark basement.

The Last House On The Left, The Hills Have Eyes, and Nightmare were all crazy good. As a teenager, I was totally creeped out by Bill Pullman saying "Don't let them bury me. I'm not dead." in the underrated The Serpent And The Rainbow.

I liked the Spent and the Rainbow. The rest were "Meh." Horror flicks are the toughest genre to make a good flick. Haven't seen a great horror flick in decades.
