I'm officially blocking off Friday night for a viewing of Goodfellas.
Of course I wonder what he died from, but he has not looked well the last few years.
Good actor and was working constantly. A lot of shady s*** happens in the DR. Hope there was no foul play.
Yup, Johnny Depps dad in Blow. Another good one.
Easily in my top 5 movies of all time. Somedays it is #1.
Goodfellas is a near perfect movie IMO and Liotta nailed that role as Henry Hill.
I don't think I've seen any movie as much as that one and it never grows old on me. Great cast, story, acting, dark humor, and a great soundtrack.

Either he had cancer treatments at some point or he really didn't age well. Saw him at least five years ago and he looked old and unhealthy back then. That's too bad. Great character actor.
Sound like he went in his sleep. Maybe a heart attack or aneurysm? Hope it was painless and peaceful. Either way, a hell of an actor with some iconic performances. RIP.
