If there are any electricians here I have an estimate question. We own a 24x30 lake cabin that was built in the early 60's with a 60 amp box (screw in fuses) and 14 ga wire with no ground. There is only one ceiling fixture the rest are wall outlets (two prong, no ground), and a water heater. We want to upgrade (plugging in a window AC burns through the fuses) to at least a 100 amp service with rewiring to all the outlets. Is about 5K for P&L about right? Is it legal to pull all the wire to the outlets but not make the connections to save costs? I've tried calling a few places but they all want to come out. Can't make that happen due to location. TIA
