Selfishly I am upset about the potential closing of the Fort Calhoun Power Plant as I have a family member that works there. The things that he has endured through his tenure there deserve far better than the closing of the plant.
As a customer of OPPD, I have serious concerns about the impact this closure could have on my bill and you should too if you are a customer.
I am not here to get into a debate about the closure of the plant, I come here to ask those that do not support the closure to support the employees. If you have the time, please go to https://ww3.oppd.com/contact-management/ and contact the board of directors and let them know that you oppose this change.
