PFF recently put out its list of the 101 best players from the last decade in the NFL. From the article, "This list isn’t an evaluation of talent, but rather of production, efficiency and performance over a specific time period."

As far as conference representation, this is how the conferences break down by the number of players based on each school's current conference (such as Von Miller counting for the SEC even though TAMU was in the Big XII when he played there) and the school each player last played for (such as Russell Wilson counting for Wisconsin, not NC State):

SEC: 21
B1G: 17
ACC: 17
Pac-12: 16
Big XII: 11
MAC: 6
AAC: 5
Notre Dame: 2
Six others: 1

In terms of the number of players for each B1G team:

Wisconsin: 4
Penn State: 3
Nebraska: 2 (Lavante David/67,Ndamukong Suh/71)
Ohio State: 2
Michigan: 2
Michigan State: 1
Rutgers: 1
Purdue: 1
Iowa: 1

A couple of interesting finds were that Clemson only had one player listed, Bama had two, and Ohio State had two. I expected them to be better represented, but I assume they'll dominate the 2020-2029 rankings based on the number of players they've put in the League recently.

The team that had the most players listed? It was a Pac-12 team, but not the one you'd probably expect in USC....it was the California Golden Bears with six players making the Top 101.
