I received my winnings in the forms of two checks from Canada. My bank took them, and now 2 weeks later they are returning them as of 5PM today.

Anyone know what I can do in this situation? Any help would be much appreciated! I did not have trouble with a previous one from another site a few months ago?

You may have to get your winnings in Bitcoin first, if that’s an option, then transfer that to cash. Most US banks will reject checks from many online gambling (assuming that’s what you mean) sites.

Have you done this before, I have heard turning bitcoin to cash can be difficult

There are bitcoin machines around most major cities to do the BTC -> Cash exchange. Sure it costs something in fees.

I've never had any problem with CoinBase converting my BTC to dollars and then sending an ACH to U.S. Bank.

I also never had an issue with depositing the Canadian checks into U.S. Bank, but I haven't done so in a couple years since BTC became more widely used by the sportsbooks and poker sites.

Have you ever used a bitcoin machine?

ignition... My bank said they can't take them, because they are associated with an online gambling site. I never told them that, but yet somehow they knew.

I will be getting them back today or tomorrow, what bank do you use mwulf? Like I said I won a substantial amount, so it probably raise the flag to be investigated

Is it not legal in your state. Not sure why the hold up unless you are in state that has not opened up gambling.
