Congrats to Kale Wolken finishing 13th in the decathlon at his first US Trials. Kale is a graduate of Johnson-Brock high school and a six time national champion for Doane College in the multis. Great young man.
Also, BJ Lawerence from Omaha has qualified for his second Olympics. He will be running the 100 and 4x100 for Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Finally, Jared Schurmanns, a Norfolk High graduate, will be attempting to make his first Olympic team in the discus. He won the US Championship last summer.
