I grew up in Nebraska and was not a huge hockey fan. Living in DC for a long time and having a buddy with season tix, I would argue that there may be nothing better in sports than playoff hockey.
The intensity is off the charts. Period 1 on Monday - 34 hits, 4 penalties, and 5-6 fights.
The skill and coordination involved with high level hockey is mind boggling.
Hoping Ovie wins the Cup again and does not do a mic drop and retire.
