OT: New A/C unit for house

I'm looking for a recommendation on the best /worst AC brands out there. I have a 10 year old unit, that probably needs a new coil, and for the cost of that, I might consider replacing the entire system. I'm in TX, and the AC runs probably 8+ months a year.
