Its a damn masterpiece. One of the best war movies Ive seen. On par with Saving Private Ryan. Wouldve been amazing in a theater.

It was good, by Netflix generation standards. Why does EXTREMELY graphic blood, guts & human suffering equal good moviemaking?
Came across it last nite while my wife and I were surfing for sometbing to watch...we didn't choose it as it wouldn't be her thing but I am so going to watch it soon.....the preview looked fantastic.
I thought it was a good war movie, much better than some others out lately but I wouldn’t put it up there with saving private Ryan. Very slow moving film.
I haven’t watched yet but have seen the original Black and White version (1930) and the late 70’s adaption with Richard Thomas. I thought both were very well done especially the original. I read that the new release has parts dealing with the Armistice not in the book. I look forward to watching!
Haha! I may have already done it to myself. But it’s all good I will watch anyways.
I saw the 1970s version and it was good but if I don't have to stare at the lead actor's mole for 2 hours in this one, I'll be happy.
You must not have watch many movies then! Watch it and it was alright,but sure aint on same level as Saving Private Ryan!
