It's a little more nuanced than that. SMHIt was good, by Netflix generation standards. Why does EXTREMELY graphic blood, guts & human suffering equal good moviemaking?
Fantastic book. I could not put it down.I read the book back in school days.
I haven’t watched yet but have seen the original Black and White version (1930) and the late 70’s adaption with Richard Thomas. I thought both were very well done especially the original. I read that the new release has parts dealing with the Armistice not in the book. I look forward to watching! Its a damn masterpiece. One of the best war movies Ive seen. On par with Saving Private Ryan. Wouldve been amazing in a theater.
