Okay guys... needing some no BS advice from the older age group of this board. I'm currently employed by an Agriculture Coop and am making a good living. However, I'm not using my college education (Fisheries and Wildlife) and I'm uncertain whether I want to continue to forfeit my summer months due to long hours.
Here a few days ago I was given a job offer for a seasonal position in Wyoming in Fish Culture at a hatchery.. I will be making less money, but they provide housing and pay for utilities. The downside is its only a 3 month job, and its 8 hours away from home (in Ten Sleep, Wyoming.. at the base of the Big Horn Mountains). To work in this field you have to work a few of these seasonal jobs before you can snag a full timer. What would you guys do in this situation? Do I leave a sure thing and risk being unemployed? I'm completely torn about it all. Thanks for any advice guys!!
