My son's computer has some less then stellar monitors:

They have been working fine. They are being supported by 2 sli nvidia 970 graphics cards. During boot up, I can see bios and the windows lg on icon. After I get to the log in screen they go blank with the power button flashing. I took one of my computer monitors and plugged it in and it works fine. When I try to detect other monitors while my monitor is connected, it crashes the screen and won't let my monitor work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need my monitor for my miss to work and need to get his computer back up and running for school.
