That was nasty. We were taking our son to Ames for a college visit & got caught in that cell down the road. Luckily, we didn’t encounter hail like that.

I had some at my place. I thought sure it was going to break windows. No damage I could see other than lots of pine needles etc on my drive. Thought my farm truck would be dented but it was parked next to a row of cedars so it was spared. Thought the hail was coming through the roof.

Guys that run out into hail storm producing large hail to pick up a sample do not have a garage full of vehicles with an extra pickup truck outside. A garage full of junk maybe.
