Heading on a family vacation at the end of July for a week (M-F) near Alexandria, MN--a couple hours west of the twin cities. Was thinking about going up a little early, leaving Saturday and staying somewhere for a couple nights. Would just be me and my wife, no kids or anything.
Any cool towns to check out along the way (leaving from Lincoln)? Or would it just be best to go to Minneapolis? Twins are not in town. No real plans other than just relaxing/hanging out.
