Husker Nation has always been a great source of trusted info. We need some help with my mom who lives in Omaha. She is 74 and disabled, MS plus recovering from major Brain Tumor Surgery. 3 months after the Brain Tumor surgery she is finally going home but we are concerned about her safety in the house. Previously we pleaded with her to get a Medic Alert Necklace. She finally got one and hated it. Too clunky, only worked in the house....... She wanted an Apple Watch but after talking to my cousin who works for Apple he said it would probably be too complicated for her to use as a Medic Alert Watch. So now we are considering something more along the lines of a Seniors so Medic Alert Watch. Anyone have any experience with these? Recommendations? Lots of brands out there.

We want something in case she falls down and is hurt, or can't get up. That is our main focus. If it looks decent she would probably wear it. Some other options that would be helpful are GPS so we can track her, step counter which would motivate her to do her exercising, sleep monitor, 2 way communication that reaches out to a limited number of people and easy to read watch face. Also open to any other suggestions. It needs to be somewhat simple so she can use it, especially if there is a crisis. Just want to make sure we get her something she will wear and help insure her safety. GBR
