OT kinda: Do you dictate your kids favorite sport's teams?

As I watch my 9 YO start down the path of choosing his favorite teams it seems he makes some good choices and some bad.

If I was being honest I do strongly encourage him to be a Husker football fan. His mama is from Texas and her family has tried to bring him to the dark side. His friends are Iowa fans(I live in Iowa) and they try to sway him but my little man stays strong.

Outside of that he is like every other little kid these days and likes the Warriors and I like the Lakers.

He likes the Cubs and I like the Red Sox. I like the Chiefs and he likes Seattle. He likes front runners for sure.....

So he has a mind of his own but NO WAY IN HELL will he be an Iowa fan. I'll send him to boarding school first.
