I made a statement several weeks ago about the abuse of DUI checkpoints noting that they are making more arrests for "other" things than they are for DUI.
someone challenged me on it politely and I said I'd post some stats next time I saw them.

SALEM - An overnight sobriety checkpoint led to six arrests, but no one was charged with driving under the influence.
State troopers and Salem police stopped a total of 191 vehicles on Route 28 between 9 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday.
Arrested during that time were:
Cesar Delacruz, 27, of Lawrence, Mass., charged with possession of a controlled drug and having an open container of alcohol.
Vickyana Rios, 25, of Methuen, Mass., charged with operating without a valid license
Mark Marchand, 26, of Lawrence, Mass., charged with operating without a valid license
Cristian Jose Cruz, 23, of Lawrence Mass., charged with possession of a controlled drug and operating without a valid license.
Kimberly Piccirillo, 19, of Methuen Mass., charged with transportation of a controlled drug
Mathew Kinney, 18, of Salem, charged with possession of a controlled drug
