I got chosen out of a bunch of people to design a ring and its down to 10 of us. whoever gets the most votes gets the ring to give to their wife.
Me and my wife were the couple who were messing around way too young and ended up getting pregnant while she was 17 and still a senior in high school. I prayed about it like crazy and I knew I had to do the right thing and marry her. Everybody in the world was telling us not to, it wouldn't last, ect..
Well we are going on 18 years this year and we have 2 boys now. Jordan which is a senior now and he wants to finally be able to go into the service as soon as he graduates and Judd who is 9 and is learning to love all the military stuff and the Huskers aswell of course. Anyway, We haven't ever had money and we are like so many others still scratching and clawing just to keep living week to week. So I haven't ever been able to afford to get her a really nice ring. She is still wearing the little cheap sad looking thing.
I would absolutely love to give this to my wife because she is so overly deserving of it. She does so much for me and the boys but she also is a full time Special Needs Teacher, Helps several local dog rescue groups, volunteers at church, and more...
I was born in Grand Island but my parents moved us down here to tennesee when I was a teen. I still have a lot of family all in those awesome little towns up there though, so I am always coming back for weddings and funerals, not to mention Huskers games when I can.
