A couple of weeks ago my car survived a hail storm as I had sped away to the east for work. Wife sends pics from our home in Arlington of golf ball sized hail. Fast forward to yesterday. We had a severe thunderstorm in the northern (DFW) metroplex. Around evening news time a storm is dropping large hail on the northern suburbs. Well, it spares Plano any big damage, but to the east in Wylie my in-laws lost three cars and their home was damaged pretty bad. We're talking baseball to grapefruit sized hail. I think I'd crap my pants if I heard that going on outside. Nuts I tell ya!

Just think. The hail storm in 1995 was 10 times worse.

Glad everyone was ok.

I was leaving my office at Legacy in Plano when that started. Beat most of the stuff and we only got some marble sized hail in N. McKinney.

Some of those photos from Wylie are nuts. They closed the schools in Wylie to deal with the damages.

Ouch. I lived in DFW for 10 years and experienced that nonsense more than once. There will be some good deals to be had on cars though!!
