IMO Biden occupies the kind of moderate position that’s not especially tenable in a debate, and he also lacks the charisma you’d need to make up for it (which is all Obama ever had). I personally think it is BS. It is just perpetuates that those inside the beltway are a special class and stay that way for life. I don't think calling a former elected officials by their title was as common when I was young (back in the pioneer days, the sixties) as it is now. Term limits and we will get the stooges from both parties out hopefully before they become the demigods that they have become.
I will probably never get another chance but I will never address anyone by a title. I have only talked to two people elected to DC. Kerry for several minutes one time I was back in Lincoln and one of my best friends that I was with knew who Bob was talking to. (The first thing Bob asked me if I knew one of the richest guys from the town I went to high school in in Nebraska). The second time I was the only one with Patricia Schroeder in a shuttle car going out to the gates at the Denver Airport very early one Sunday morning. We had a pretty cordial conversation considering our politics are at the opposite end of the spectrum. I don't remember calling either one by a title.

Antifa can loot stores, throw chemicals on the police and burn buildings and you will hear not one word of condemnation from Democrats. As a Republican I can clearly denounce groups like the Proud Boys when they act like racist hillbillies.

It was definitely 2-1 last night as Wallace was predictable. A debate should be between the two candidates and not just the topics the moderator wants AND releases several days in advance.
I want them to have to or be given the opportunity to answer or respond to a question asked by the other candidates.
