I have a 1996 EZ Go Medalist Gas golf cart. I believe the Drive Clutch is not working. For those familiar it's the one one towards the front of the cart. There is a Drive and Driven clutch, the Driven is further back.
The drive clutch is supposed to "pinch" the belt when the gas is pushed, but that is not happening. I can push it in with my hand. I'm fairly confident I can get it removed from the cart. A replacement looks to be approx $250. But I was hoping somebody on here would have any ideas.
Is there a part that makes the clutch pinch in/out that i should be looking at?
Is there anywhere around Norfolk that I can take the clutch when i get it out?
