No idea what the batter said if anything, but it looked to me like he put his head down and jogged around the bases. I hope that pitcher gets a lengthy suspension.

Miami and Boston College. Been more than a few interesting bench clearing fun times in those games.

Seems like all those pitchers think their spot is along the 3rd base line during the trot home.

Pretty sad people can't take a good ribbing anymore or someone talking some smack. That said, I do hate zero tolerance BS in this country. But this is the sort of thing that might warrant it, he doesn't get to play baseball anymore, period.

Suspended 4 games by the conference.

Seems really light to me considering the hitter got 2 games for taunting and anyone who left the bench/dugout got 2 games as well.

His school could of course take further action if they want

Any idea what kind of taunting the batter did? If it were up to me I would have suspended the pitcher for the rest of the season.

Agree - rest of the season for the pitcher is where I would have gone.

The hitter was ejected for taunting which drove the suspension but no idea what he did or said. I don’t see anything in the video but he is out of frame as he rounds first base. And of course there is no sound.

He was kicked off the team. Someone on MLB Network said it was reported that the better shouted expletives at the pitcher as he rounded the bases, not that the pitcher's actions were justified by any means.
