Anyone have spouses, children, etc., familiar with the program? My daughter is considering it and after doing a visit, it seems like a great place that would have a student's best interest in mind in completing the program. I've read it is a very rigorous program, which sounds great, but just finishing up a rigorous high school program, and I know this sounds odd, I'm not so sure I want her to have to live in the library. There is something to be said for having time to enjoy the overall college experience.
She was admitted to NU too (along with many others in the midwest and southeast), but she likes the idea of not having to apply for the nursing professional program later as opposed to being in the nursing program immediately with the freshman admission at Creighton.
For us it is out of state tuition either place so it is expensive either way, but with the scholarship offer differences between the two, it's about the same net cost.
And no, I'm not a Jay sports fan.
Just a side note about the college application/admission process; no one has done a better job of following up than NU, including merchandise and letters. Not even close. Pretty impressive.
