I graduated from college nearly 3 years ago with a degree in Mathematics. When I first graduated I accepted the first job that was offered to me. It was absolutely terrible and they didn't let me do the position I was actually hired to do and quit after a month or so. I went back to my job I had all through college and have been applying for numerous jobs without much luck. So now I am back studying for the actuary exams(I had a concentration in Actuarial Science). I find it pretty awful but don't really know what else to do.
How did everyone else decide what they wanted to do as a career. Did you kind of just fall into it or was it something you wanted to do for a long time. I feel like in high school you were told if you went to college and did well you would find a great career making good money. Now i feel like that was a lie and a college degree doesn't mean as much as it used to. Part of the problem is I truly don't know what I want to do.
