Other than bank a $150,000 to $250,000+ salary for a medium to big sized company, I can't quite figure out what HR execs actually do on a day to day basis.
- Payroll is handled by HR specialists
- Hiring and Identifying is handled by hiring and Workforce experts.
- Personnel and Employee issues are dealth with by other HR staffers.
- I've never called HR to ask about a 401 K or insurance paperwork and spoken with an HR VP.
- Salary, compensation, and review oversight requires a VP signature, but there is no way that VP even looks at that content.
Please enlighten me...
