OT: B.B. King reports he's in hospice at home

Sad news indeed. Huge fan. Have seen him in concert over 20 times at locations all over the world. Have an autographed Gibson in a case hangin on my office wall. I know he has been fighting diabetes for years. Not sure if this is relate, but whatever it is, it doesn't sound good. Think I'll follow your lead and listen to some Blues Boy myself...on vinyl of corse.

I hope hospice is as helpful for him as it was for my dad. Best decision we made in the whole process.

Sad news. There's something special about the delta blues. It's completely original and unique; it can't be replaced by a computer program. It's also impossible to teach someone to play the guitar the way many of his generation play/played.

Anyway, I feel lucky to have heard him play live. I also feel lucky that we have an incredible blues bar in this town. The Zoo is a great place to watch live music.
