Not sure the criteria, and obviously nobody will agree completely with the rankings/ omissions but it’s good to see some relatively newer releases starting to creep into these lists. Oddly I’ve never heard of or listened to their #1 album, but will definitely check it out.
no artist had more than 2 albums listed, (Radiohead, the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce all had 2) which makes it seem like they intentionally were trying to appeal to lots of people.
My only real opinions are that Back in Black is the most overrated piece of trash ever recorded and shouldn’t be in the list, and that Purple Rain >>>>>>Thriller.
