OT: Anyone with youtube knowledge

I have mp4 video files that look amazing on my pc but when uploaded to YouTube, they look terrible. Any tricks to this?

How long are you waiting before viewing video? YouTube publishes videos at a lower quality first, while the higher resolution formats are being processed. You may just have to wait to see the higher quality become available.
