Thinking I need to get a new air conditioner this year. Haven't turned it on yet but last year we had a couple problems--basically the coil freezes up, then leaks coolant which is very expensive to refill and not economical to keep doing given the increased price. Additionally, water leaks during this process, which isn't a huge deal as the room is unfinished but it get can to carpet. I think it floods a pipe that goes under the ground to my drain as there is a crack in the concrete where I think the water comes up from--not sure if sealing the crack would help or just cause the water to damage another area. I'm told that fixing the coil problem could be about $1,000, and no guarantee it works. Unit hast lasted about 17 years so no complaints.

Both the furnace and the AC are Bryant, and I got a bid last fall from them to replace just the AC or both. What other companies in Lincoln should I consider? Don't plan on living at the house forever, so probably won't go with something super high end but would like to at least have a couple bids to consider when making the decision. Thanks.
