OSU WR Richard Mullaney transferring

It wouldn't be the craziest thing to ever happen, but WR is one of the last positions where they need more players. I'd think he would want to play someplace where he's basically guaranteed to start.

If we have an open scholarship I'd at least consider it.

We don't really have THAT much experienced depth at WR. Westerkamp obviously and Pierson-El.

Turner hasn't yet fulfilled his early promise and has missed most of 2 years with leg injuries, Moore doesn't have good hands, Reilly has 9 career catches, Allen has never come all the way back from injury, Tolbert is gone, Burtch missed all year with knee and concussion problems, Hovey had one good game last year. Not sure anybody else has played yet.

We have a lot of depth but not many sure things. If we have an open scholarship (Bondi's?), though, a guy like Dylan Utter has to get consideration for that scholarship too.

Mullaney attributes: Great hands, good blocker, average speed therefore at times has trouble getting open, won't run away from anybody. Best trait will catch anything he can get his hands on and good size at 6'3".
