One thing I would like to see change is how sluggish we start games. We look completely out of rhythm and it seems like Langsdorf runs the same 3 plays to start every game.
Fresno St - 7 first quarter points
Wyoming - 7 first quarter points
Oregon - 7 first quarter points
One thing Riley has proven since he has come to Nebraska is that he makes great halftime adjustments. While that is a nice change from the previous staff, I think in order for us to take the next step our guys need to come out with more urgency. Not sure if it has been pre-game nervousness but even Riley said his guys need to settle into a groove earlier in the game. Not a crucial problem but if we want to hang with Ohio St and Wisconsin later in the year, we cannot play from behind.
