Having read the articles and seeing the Aaron Taylor note as well I've come my own conclusion. I believe Scott Frost is building a program at UCF that he can be happy with for as long as he want to stay there. I think he is creating an environment that competitive and great stability for his family. I think he knows that he will in the future have an option to be a HC at Nebraska. Knowing that even if Riley is retained at Nebraska he'll likely retire in 5 yrs or so. Until then he's showing his cards that he is happy with UCF and will take no other jobs until Nebraska comes calling whether this year or further down the road.
