Omar Manning is OFFICIALLY good to go...Twitter links inside.

Could be a decent group:

Wandale - We know his capability
Alante Brown - Stoked to see what he can do
Peanut Houston - Could be a newcomer to step in
Kade - Hopefully he is healthy; Nice sure-handed safety blanket
Hickman - Possesses good size
Betts - Excited for his future
Manning - Hopefully he shows why he is so highly sought after
Fleming - Fast!
Nixon - My sleeper. I think he could do some things for us.
Hahn - Gotta have some 5 star heart!
Fidone will fit in nicely in that group.

Will this help with JD or has that ship sailed?
Sad to say but at this point, I hope he stays home. Would rather have guys on the team that WANT to be in Lincoln and won’t be a distraction.

Plus I’d love to see more PT at WR for the group that we currently know will be here. May have some growing pains in 2020 but will be much better of a core then Frost or MR ever had before. And 2021’s passing attack, forget about it. Can’t wait until 11/26/2021 when our WRs can pick on Dickerson.

@Pennsyhusker mentioned it but it often gets overlooked. Timing. QB’s and WR’s need that chemistry.
So much of the game in all facets revolves around building cohesive chemistry.

There’s unfortunately very little time for these guys to do that with so many newcomers. Learning, fine-tuning plays, solidifying everyone’s role, and working on the timing of routes is gonna be a big challenge.
Can they still perform well? Hopefully yes. But getting maximum production may need to wait until 2021.

QB position is gonna have to work hard to make it happen also. As Verduzco would say, “We need a quick blinker,” and that includes all our WR’s.

I like that coaches realized they may need to simplify a bit this year.
