Kinda seems that way. Ravens always seemed to have a rock solid front office, and John Harbaugh seemed like a top-level coach there. Not sure why all the turmoil lately.Seems like a regime change is imminent in baltimore
Baltimore does have a rock solid front office. But the dumbassery that is all things Jimmy Hasslim (Browns owner) in giving Watson that massive guarantee (because Hasslim apparently thought that Watson was the only QB left on the planet), Lamar Jackson knows that he's better than Watson so he wants an even better contract. The Lamar Jackson situation has thrown the franchise into turmoil.Kinda seems that way. Ravens always seemed to have a rock solid front office, and John Harbaugh seemed like a top-level coach there. Can they trade him since they already tagged him? Don’t honestly know how that works.OBJ will not be worth it, IMO. Probably puts up average stats at best.
Ravens need to trade Lamar, no one will sign him for 45+ a year and two first rounders
I think Ozzie Newsome basically said that , the Watson deal really puts teams not only the Ravens in a tough spot.Baltimore does have a rock solid front office. The Ravens franchised Lamar, risking a LeVeon Bell style holdout, or sign him to a one year contract with a guarantee that they won't franchise him down the road. The theory is that other teams aren't giving Lamar an offer sheet because (1) if it's a reasonable offer, the Ravens will just match it and the other team will be left with nothing but a pissed off returning QB and having had money tied up for a short while or (2) they make Lamar an offer that the Ravens cannot match. But then that team loses two first round picks and has overspent for a QB.
My take on Lamar Jackson is that he's a sporadic passer who's had injury issues and doesn't want to be in an offense that has designed runs for the QB anymore. So the Ravens have a new OC and are trying to accommodate him, but he's asking for way too much money.

Ozzie was not whining he is stating a fact, it is Cleveland’s money but they set the market but it’s hard to convince players that the market was set at a ridiculous price and we can’t match or beat it.It's Cleveland's money to spend how they see fit..owners whining about it look like idiots. They should be thrilled in all honesty...that a team sucks so bad they had to blow their wad for one (not that great), player, and are a laughing stock for doing so. It is Lamar's fault he doesn't have a deal yet, not Cleveland's.
Yep. The Browns have graduated from wrecking their own team annually to wrecking the whole league.I think Ozzie Newsome basically said that , the Watson deal really puts teams not only the Ravens in a tough spot.
Lamar has been the sole source of the turmoil. They made a reasonable offer and he’s failed to make a sane counter offer.Kinda seems that way. Ravens always seemed to have a rock solid front office, and John Harbaugh seemed like a top-level coach there. Not sure why all the turmoil lately.
