NU vs MU

This will be a close game a game that could go either way and I feel good about Nebraska this year. Badger Pete is correct, you stop the Minnesota running game don't turn the ball over avoid silly mistakes and I'd put Nebraska's chances of winning this game at 60%. This game will not define this season as far as what the future holds for Nebraska but it can jump start the season to a very good record.

I would add that the pre-game walk-through on Wednesday (Wednesday night) and Thursday is going to be very important. Huskers have been in Memorial/practice facilty for many months, and now they will see a much smaller stadium for the first time. Hope the young guys absorb the sight lines and lights quickly. If we can run the ball (5.5-6 yards per carry) and have long successful drives, it will have a very calming effect over the whole team and quiet the Gopher crowd.

I want to see how our defense handles their o-line. They got some big guys and the 3-3-5 on paper looks like it might be weak to power run teams.

Stop the run. Run ball successfully. Solid special teams. No turnovers by Sims and I have Nebraska 27 - 24..
Rhule has been saying repeatedly that the kicking game needs work, which is concerning to me. Other than that, I agree. NU should win.

One thing not many people are talking about is game adjustments, our former coaches were terrible at making game adjustments. I think we have the right coaches now in place that can make these adjustments during the game. jmo

Gopher crowd… 😂

I'm intrigued by the reports coming out of camp about NU's Dline. If those reports hold true the D might keep NU in the early games until the offense settles in.

I also can't forget that with a shred of competent coaching NU would have easily been over .500 over the past few years.
