WHAT: Autograph and book signing event with Hawkeye College Football Hall of Famer, Heisman runner-up & NFL vet Chuck Long, former Cyclone & NFL player Todd Doxzon and Heisman Trophy winner and ex- Husker Johnny Rodgers.
WHERE: BCS Stone Showroom, 4331 112th St., Urbandale.
WHEN: Wednesday, Nov. 6, 4:30pm-6pm (Doors open at 4pm).
WHY: For Des Moines-area homeowners and businesses to learn about BCS Stone’s selection of natural stone and quartz material for countertops, while meeting some of college football’s greats from Iowa and Nebraska.
The non-profit partner is the Ronald McDonald House of Central Iowa and they will be accepting donations at the free event.
Fans are encouraged to bring one item to get signed and there will be a flyer available if you do not have an item to sign. In addition, you can pose and take pictures with the Heisman Trophy.
Aaron Putze’s Iowa and Chuck Long book, “Destined For Greatness” and a Husker mini-profile book will be available for personalized autographs by Chuck and Johnny and they make great and unique XMAS presents.
