Huskers End Fall with Red-White Series

Lincoln – The Nebraska baseball team will open its annual Red-White Series on Friday, Oct. 14, at Hawks Field, with game one of the series scheduled for 6 p.m. The series continues on Sunday at 7 p.m., while the finale of the three-game series will be on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to come early to the finale on Tuesday, as the team will sign autographs prior to the game from 3:15-3:45 p.m.

All three games are open to the public and are free to attend. Gates will open roughly 60 minutes prior to game time. Concessions will be available at the Haymarket Park on a limited basis.

Fans interested in season tickets for the 2017 season should stop by the ticket office at Hawks Field, which will be open for the first four innings of all three games.

Nebraska’s marketing staff will be giving out free white visors to the first 1,000 fans on Friday night and on Sunday the first 1,000 fans will receive a voucher that allows them to purchase a hot dog at the concession stand for $1.

Sunday, Oct. 16 – 7 p.m. (6 innings)
Tuesday, Oct. 18 – 4 p.m. (7 innings)
