While this board has mostly become a Central Florida board, I hope the few people here who still root for NU realize we have a tough opponent this week. Too bad so few seem to care.

I care a lot. What would you like to talk about? While this board has mostly become a Central Florida board, I hope the few people here who still root for NU realize we have a tough opponent this week. Too bad so few seem to care.
If we can win, I believe 7 wins are likely. Not great but I really thought 6-6 at the beginning of the year. The blowouts of course are the buzzkill.I care a lot. What would you like to talk about?

I like your optimism. I think a win here is, honestly a steal, but it might be our best shot at one, (or Iowa), for ROS.If we can win, I believe 7 wins are likely. Not great but I really thought 6-6 at the beginning of the year. The blowouts of course are the buzzkill.
Aren't you taking your 7 year old or something???
Great lesson in overcoming obstacles.
Play act. Be a good Dad. Life isn't fair...

As for NWU, I think we can pass on them a bit, but I think it depends on how confident and focused Lee is. Run game is probably not going to do much, but if we can find a foothold, perhaps we get Bradley Going?
Thoughts?

Getting within 1 game of bowl contention would be a big deal.
Not to worry, you'll see plenty of commentary on Husker football vs Northwestern on the First/Second half threads (if Der Husker chooses to do so), the variety of comments no doubt being the gnashing of teeth, swearing, bemoaning and flat out frustration until very close to the end. While this board has mostly become a Central Florida board, I hope the few people here who still root for NU realize we have a tough opponent this week. Why don't our players play hard at home???
Why when I watch the "Tunnel Walk" none of these players give a shite???
Why can't I slap some heart into these kids???
No idea. But I've been away from Nebraska since I was 18, and we were in the early stages of our 90s dominance.
What I saw from early 80s to mid-90s, you can't imagine.
Players willing to die for their team. Not this nonsense...
Where did you play your college ball?

What are they northwest of anyways?
Kravis says hello. Sold the family biz and went Frost...lol
18-30 I was serving my country conducting special operations in the Air Force. pararescue and combat control. I have 3 kids that have played division 1 athletics and my wife also played D1 ball. So I guess I am the only loser in the house.

Yea, let's all get excited about playing in The Toilet Bowl.
Christ.
I'm out.
I love you Scott Frost...
It always is for Coach RileyGetting within 1 game of bowl contention would be a big deal.
The Northwestern Territory back in the Revolutionary War era. What are they northwest of anyways?
This. And I too think we match up well with these guys. I think we win by 10I care about the game on Saturday. I find it odd how anyone would consider themselves a big enough fan to post on this message board, but you wouldn't go to or watch a game because of the team's record. We can be pissed about the leadership. we can be pissed off about the season, and we can even be angry by the overwhelming irrelevance circling the program.
But watching football games and rooting for the Huskers is still the primary reason any of this shit here exists.
The NW game is winnable, and I expect Nebraska to win the game. This is a better matchup than people think.

Mizzu under Pinkel immediately found success in the SEC East, which is very comparable to the B1G West. Mizzu is terrible now but mostly because they haven’t been able to find another Pinkel, not because their division is tough. The supposed powers of that division, Tennnessee and Florida, are awful. The Big East powers and Wisky are as good as any SEC team with the possible exception of Alabama. The B1G East is better than the mighty SEC West top to bottom.I think we’ll win 7 games as well. But look at who we beat. Now, where’s the rock to hide under. We’d win 2 games in the SEC with their speed. To think this team is loaded with RSJRs is scary.

I know! Players like that would just never make it on our team in this day and age. Far too mean and agressive!Quit talking like Jason Peter - you are going to hurt some feelings.
