I agree with Tim there, Io_a may get some decent TEs but there no TE U...Miami owns them in that position.

Since 2000, I count 6 TE's drafted from Miami - Bubba Franks, Jeremy Shockey, Kellen Winslow II, Greg Olsen, Jimmy Graham, and Clive Walford.

In the same time, Iowa has had 8 drafted - Austin Wheatley, Dallas Clark, Erik Jensen, Tony Jackson, Scott Chandler, Brandon Myers, Tony Moeaki, and CJ Fiedorowicz.

Additionally, Zeron Flemister signed as a free agent in 2000, Robert Gallery, who started his career at Iowa at TE was drafted in the first round of the 2004 draft at tackle and Allen Reisner was signed in 2011. Ray Hamilton signed with Dallas and has bounced around practice squads since 2015,

Basically, three guys have started at Iowa at TE under Kirk Ferentz and have NOT gone to the league: Kyle Trippeer in 2000, Mike Follett in 2003, and Zach Derby in 2012.

This is unprecedented. Iowa is Tight End U, and it's not even close. Start at TE for Kirk Ferentz, and you're going to cash an NFL paycheck. End of story.

And it's cute how you stylize Iowa. With W's being so rare in Lincoln, it's smart to conserve Winking

Farniok could of went to Iowa and learned from the best OL coach in college football and been a NFL starter kit. Hope that wasn't a 30-40 million dollar mistake on his part.

And it's cute how you left out Richard Gordon, Mondriel Fulcher, Kevin Everett and Dedrick Epps as drafted Miami TE's from that same time period.

Also, of the TE's you did list: Iowa's had 1 Pro Bowl, 1 All Pro, and 1,052 career receptions. Miami's had 12 Pro Bowls, 2 All Pro, and 2,282 career receptions.

Iowa's good, but Miami's better.

Don't let facts get in the way of a good argument Yossarian.
