LBSU tweeted it about 1.5 hours ago. Nothing from NU. It seems likely Bolt and Co. are steamed about it.
Well this sucks. Does anyone know if there is a penalty for cancelling a game? I feel there should be going forward if not.

They weren't forced to put Nebraska on their schedule, they made an agreement to come to Lincoln in March.
Comment I saw on the Omaha World Herald last night was we were looking hard at travelling somewhere this weekend to replace the lost games to the filthy dirtbags. Any hot rumors out there as to what team or teams we might find a series with this weekend?

I’ll never forget the year Erstad didn’t reschedule a cancelled game and we missed the regional due to finishing one game under .500. At least Bolt is trying. That was the day I knew Erstad was a decent coach but not a good manager. I’ll get off my soap box now. Haha
I find most of that pretty hard to believe. I would assume we said no to going out there (especially since they would probably make us take a bus again) but I doubt they were actually willing to change all their travel plans around to play a Sunday/Monday series.

Long Beach State is hosting a three-game series with Gonzaga this weekend after the Zags’ series at Missouri was canceled. Well, technically, cut short. It was scheduled as a four-game series but they played one game in Columbia Wednesday and canceled the remaining three.

Gonzaga, with basically no notice, can afford to fly to Long Beach State. And when Oklahoma played in Houston last weekend, they flew. That's a 6.5 hour drive, which is the same Lincoln to Minneapolis, except we take a bus.
