I’m not taking sides on this. Thank goodness there is going to be sufficient vaccine for everyone.

The Department of Homeland Security has also urged all people, “regardless of immigration status, to receive the COVID-19 vaccine once eligible under local distribution guidelines.”

It added that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection wouldn’t “conduct enforcement operations” at or near vaccination sites.

Agree or disagree with any and all illegal immigrants receiving aid, this is 100% what is best for the American public.

Weren't you telling us kids don't spread it?

They like to have it both ways. It's no big deal, fauci lied, open it up, don't have masks don't control me, kids don't spread it, democrat hoax to shut down the country and take your rights away......

.... but where is my vaccination, how come my wife can't get it, why should the 'illegal' get it... etc.

Exactly.

Anyone here needs to be vaccinated to protect everyone. People don't suddenly stop spreading the virus when they cross imaginary country borders.
Of course this is correct.

But, the more difficult question is should an illegal 61 year old male receive a vaccination before CK second grade teacher wife? CK’s wife could be your child’s teacher in a classroom with 20 - 30 other kids. Taking Covid home to expose 20- 30 families.

Eventually everyone will be able to get a shot but at this time while distribution is limited the way those shots are distributed can make a difference. I bet CK would prefer his wife got that shot.

I’m just glad we have time and people to ponder these individual situations. Because 45 days ago, we had no plan.

The question doesn't need to be that difficult, because he happens to be in the bracket of people who the state of Texas is allowing to be vaccinated right now. He's in the age range + has pre-existing conditions that resulted in having a spot toward the front of the line. Therefore he is at more risk than HuskerCK's wife, according to Texas's guidelines and the guidelines of most (all?) states.

I think teachers should be vaccinated ASAP, but this man's immigration status has nothing to do with it.

hank and I have opted out of the vaccine but there's no way in hell we are gonna just stand here and let these illegals get it either! it's time to take back our country. as far as I'm concerned ALL good, Trump-fearing Americans should have the right to have refused the vaccine before we go sticking it in any illegals!!

She had Covid! Said she'd take Covid over her multiple bouts with the flu! So it actually was weaker than the flu.

Sorry to hear she had the Covid. Honest question. If a person previously had the Covid, can they get Covid again? Maybe less likely?

Yes you can get it again. Thus why she is getting the vaccine. It's highly unlikely but can happen!

I'll take a side...inject the illegal immigrants with the vaccine and then deport them. Both humanitarian and right by the law of the land. Of course you Socialist Democrats want to let them in illegally to vote illegally to support your Anti-American agenda.

Stop the lies. There is nobody on this board saying they think illegals should vote.
Here’s a fun fact: about the eight paragraph.
While noncitizens can't vote in federal elections, a few local jurisdictions have provided some voting rights. In San Francisco, noncitizens -- including undocumented immigrants -- can vote in local school board elections.

I don't have an issue with them voting in local affairs especially school boards if they are legal members of that community.

I get the sentiment with school boards as their children go there, but seems not right to let the illegal ones vote.

Just my 2 sense 🤷‍♂️

Where I'm at they are flying through categories as it isn't anywhere near 100% of eligible people getting it. Most places can't get the people to take it at much over a ~60%.

Also they will have to steal his second dose, the nano bots are already at work.

After the @risk, and I'm OK with giving it to old illegals, are vaccinated the more people the better that reside within our boarders. Keeps spread down which hopefully mitigates wild mutations.
